Bonsai Ficus with Guidelines to Take with Properly Care

Bonsai ficus is one kind of plants that is popularly used as a bonsai tree. The ficus has many kinds of mostly tropical plant species. The bonsai ficus can be one of a kind that is suitable for beginners. Talking about how to care the ficus, it is quite easy since these trees are relatively resistant to low light and humidity. No wonder if the tree is widely used as indoor plants.

Guidelines to Take Care of Bonsai Ficus

Although it is placed indoor, the bonsai ficus should be placed near a window in order to still get sufficient sunlight, especially in the morning. Water the plant everyday in slowly. Do not let the tree dry or get too much water that can cause the root rot and die. For the leaves remain green, mist the leaves in the day. Put humidity trays will be also helpful.

Another important thing is fertilization. Give fertilizer once every two weeks using an organic liquid fertilizer or chemical one. Do not forget to mention bonsai ficus pruning. The ficus is one type of bonsai which can grow rapidly. Crop 2-4 leaves after 6-10 leaves grow while the heavy pruning can be done during the spring. Pot replacement should also be routinely done at least once in a year in line with the growth of the bonsai ficus
